Trust & security

Records your business can stand behind

Privio holds the agreements and personal details your business runs on. Here is exactly how they are protected, in plain language.

A private vault, owner-only

Your events, signed agreements and guest records live in a private digital vault. Only the business owner, and people they explicitly sign in, can open it. Privio staff cannot browse your records.

Signed records are locked

Once a guest signs, the document is sealed. It cannot be edited or quietly replaced, not by the guest, not by the business. Corrections mean a new signature, so the record always shows what was actually agreed.

Tamper-evident documents

Every signed PDF carries the signer's typed and drawn name, the date and time, and the terms as they were shown at signing, so you can demonstrate exactly what each person agreed to and when.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

All connections run over HTTPS, and stored data, including signatures and guest details, is encrypted at rest. Signing links are unique per event, and private guest links are one-per-person.

Guests own their information

The person who signs owns what they share. Guests can view their own connection profile through a private link, and a business only sees the details a guest chose to provide for that event.

AI with human oversight

Privio AI prepares drafts, flags gaps and coordinates reminders, it never signs, sends or publishes on its own. Every consent, legal and communication decision is approved by a person first.

Everyday practices

  • Access to each vault is controlled by sign-in, with optional passwordless email links.
  • Signing and check-in links are unique per event; guest profile links are private per person.
  • Reminders are limited, at most 3 per guest, at least 24 hours apart, and nothing is sent without approval.
  • You can export your records as PDF or CSV at any time; your data is never sold or used for advertising.
  • Payments are processed by Paddle; card details never touch Privio's servers.
