Privio Private vault

Event check-in app with QR sign-in and waivers

Privio turns the door of your event into one calm step. Guests scan a QR code or use the iPad at reception, share the details you asked for, sign your waiver or NDA when the event needs one, and everything is stored together in a private vault you own.

What check-in looks like with Privio

  • Check in from a QR code

Every event gets its own link and QR code. Print it for the door, add it to the invite, or show it on a phone — guests check in on their own device in under a minute.

  • Ask only what this event needs

Choose the fields and the interest choices per event. A networking night may need nothing more than name and email; a clinic day may need consent and treatment interests.

  • Signing is optional, not forced

Attach a waiver, NDA, visitor policy or consent form when the event calls for one — or run a contact-only check-in with no document at all.

  • Minors and guardians handled

A guest under 18 can add a parent or legal guardian name and a second signature to the same record.

  • One private vault, not a shared inbox

Check-ins, signed documents and connection profiles sit together in an owner-only vault instead of scattered spreadsheets and photo folders.

  • Export the guest list

Download signed documents as PDFs and export the attendee list as a CSV when you want to follow up after the event.

How to set up an event check-in

  1. 1

Create the event in your private vault and give it a name your guests will recognise.

  2. 2

Pick the interests or services guests can choose from, and attach an agreement if this event needs one.

  3. 3

Preview the guest screen, publish, then share the link or print the QR code for the door.

  4. 4

Watch check-ins arrive, then export the list or download any signed PDF whenever you need it.

Events people run this way

Pop-ups and launch nights collecting event waivers at the door, clinics and salons running open days with consent forms, studios and gyms hosting classes with fitness waivers, creator meet-ups needing photo and video releases, and offices treating arrivals as visitor sign-in.

Event check-in app: common questions

What is an event check-in app?
An event check-in app records who attended, captures the details each guest agreed to share, and stores it in one place. Instead of a clipboard at the door, guests scan a QR code or use a tablet you leave at reception.
Do guests need to install anything?
No. Privio check-in runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, iPad and desktop. Guests scan the QR code and the check-in screen opens straight away.
Can I run a check-in without any document to sign?
Yes. An agreement is optional. A networking evening can collect contact details and interests only, while a workshop can attach a liability waiver to the same flow.
Can guests sign a waiver during check-in?
Yes. Guests read the document on screen, type their full name and sign with a finger or stylus. The date is stamped automatically and the signed copy is stored as a PDF.
Who can see the guest list?
Only your account. Guests see their own screen, and each guest can view their own record through a private link.
How much does it cost?
There is a free plan for small volumes, monthly plans for regular use, and a one-time Event Pass for a single event. Full details are on the pricing page.
