Privio Private vault

What makes Privio different

Privio isn't competing with another e-signature platform. DocuSign is built around documents, Signeasy around simple e-signatures, Smartwaiver around waivers. Privio is built around agreements that start with a real-world interaction — and the connection that comes after the signature.

DocuSign

Built for: Documents

A document travels from sender to recipient by email. Powerful for contracts between people who already know each other — but it starts with a file, not a person standing in front of you.

Signeasy

Built for: Simple e-signatures

A lighter way to get a signature on a PDF. Same model as DocuSign, just simpler: you upload, you send, they sign.

Smartwaiver

Built for: Waivers

Built for one document type. Great if all you ever need is a waiver at the door — but it stops at the signature.

Privio

Built around: Agreements around real-world interactions

Privio isn't built around sending documents. It's built around the moment a business meets a person — and what that moment can become afterwards.

One flow, from arrival to relationship

An e-signature platform ends when the document is signed. Privio starts there:

  1. 1. Event

A guest, client or visitor arrives — in person, at the door.

  2. 2. QR code

They scan or use the iPad at reception. No app, no email thread.

  3. 3. Agreement

They read the NDA, waiver, consent form or policy you chose.

  4. 4. Sign

They type their name and sign with a finger. Date is stamped automatically.

  5. 5. Connection

Email, phone, LinkedIn and interests are captured — with their permission.

  6. 6. Private vault

Signed document and connection profile live together, owner-only.

We connect people to businesses

Beyond the signature, Privio collects what the next gathering is built on: email, phone number, LinkedIn, and what each person is actually interested in. The guest owns their information and sees exactly what they shared; the business keeps a permissioned connection profile ready for the next gathering — all in one private vault.

See it in context: event check-in, visitor sign-in, clinic consent forms, and creator releases.

Common questions

Is Privio an e-signature tool?
Signing is part of it — typed names, drawn signatures, automatic dates and a tamper-evident PDF. But the product starts before the signature: at the moment someone walks in, scans your QR code and becomes a person you can follow up with, not just a signed file.
Can I still use it just for signatures?
Yes. Publish an agreement, share the link or QR code, and collect a signature. You simply don't lose anything afterwards — the signed copy and the person's connection profile stay together in your private vault.
What information do you collect about the person?
Whatever the business asks for: full name, email, phone, role or title, and event-specific fields like LinkedIn or Instagram. Guests also pick their interests — so you know who to invite back and what to talk about.
Who owns the information the guest shares?
The guest owns their information. They can view their own connection profile through a private link, and the business can only see what the guest chose to share for that event.
Do I need both Privio and an e-signature tool?
For contracts negotiated over email — employment agreements, vendor contracts — a dedicated e-signature tool still fits. For everything that happens when a business meets a person face to face, Privio covers signing, the information around it, and the relationship afterwards in one place.
